Industrial Arts Department

I sincerely wish to acknowledge the current members of the department, Mr Umesh Prasad and Mr Altaf Azaad, Mr Yashvindra Ram and Mr Hirdesh Prasad, for their dedication, commitment, continuous and consistent hard work and support that they have unconditionally carried out for the department despite the numerous challenges faced by new members in the department.

With displayed teamwork and professional attitude, I am blessed to lead experienced, spirited and enthusiastic department teachers who are all focused towards a common goal of shaping children’s lives. Whatever is offered to technology students in Suva Muslim is aligned to the requirements of the job market and its standards. This is the paramount issue of the TVET department of Ministry of the Education Fiji.

I wish to also acknowledge the school management for the guidance, and support provided to the team. A proposed project for the upcoming year is to build a room to accommodate Auto CAD facilities which will be offered to our senior students in learning basic drafting’s.

We have also set some very challenging targets for the external exam classes this year which will help us focused on achieving them.

We are looking forward to a very good harvest in terms of our students’ internal and external examination results early next year.
